This April Mike will be attending the Keller Williams Luxury Retreat in Las Vegas. Once a year the KW Luxury Division hosts their luxury agents and guests to discuss trends in the luxury market, and how to best serve luxury clients. This event also creates an environment for luxury agents to network, which is hugely important for marketing since many luxury buyers move from one area to another due to business relocations. Meeting other luxury agents face-to-face so that you know who you are referring to your clients gives the confidence that you are handing them off to someone who is a knowledgeable professional.
The speakers at the retreat are luxury experts that offer insight into facets of the luxury market and success in general. This year’s speakers include: Mel Robbins, a speaker and TV personality, who authored the business bestseller, Stop Saying You Are Fine; Patrick Schwerdtfeger, a leading authority on global business trends and the social media revolution and expert for Bloomberg TV; Sandra Dee Robinson, actress and consultant on how to develop authentic power and communication skills; Bill Hensley, a KW Luxury agent from Carlsbad, California, who speaks and has authored several internationally-selling books; and Scott Rudolph, Business Development Director of LuxuryRealEstate.com.
Mike Brodie consulted with Keller Williams International to start the Luxury Division worldwide. He feels that having a separate division with its own identity serves the luxury clients in the best way possible. At Keller Williams Plano, where Mike is the Operating Principal, the luxury division has over 20 agents. In 2015 KW Plano opened a luxury suite to provide a place for luxury agents to both office and network with each other. The luxury market in Plano is continuing to expand as The Billion Dollar Mile is ever-expanding with businesses moving in, such as Toyota, FEDEX, and the Dallas Cowboys.
